Since her initial appearance in the book Agents of Atlas,
Wave has been a major hit with comic readers. Co-created by
Filipino artist, Leinil Yu, the super heroine from Cebu
has made appearances in several comic titles and more
recently, a Marvel video game.
Though the
character has appeared in many Marvel books, Filipino
fans have been clamoring for her own solo series.
As part of the event, SuperManila is organising
a signature campaign, calling on Marvel to create a
Wave solo series, as well as Wave Funko collectible
figure.
The exclusive three-day fan convention will feature exhibits and merchandise from brands, such as Hot Toys, Funko, and LEGO.
